Ovarian Cancer Biomarkers Are Sought To Enhance Early Disease Detection

Researchers have designed a study to seek new ovarian cancer biomarkers that will enhance early disease detection. “Early detection and monitoring the treatment remain the most important factors in improving long-term survival of ovarian cancer patients. New biomarkers that individually or in combination improve the diagnostic performance of existing tumor markers are critically needed,” asserted researchers at the MD Anderson Cancer Center.” F.B.
