Breast Cancer Study Says They Need Black Women

The great leader Winston Churchill once said, “To every person there comes in their lifetime that special moment when you are figuratively tapped on the shoulder and offered the chance to do a very special thing, unique to you and your talents. What a tragedy if that moment finds you unprepared or unqualified for work which could have been your finest hour.” I don’t mean to over-dramatize the need for black women to step up and join in on this important study, but I certainly want to drive home its importance. Yes, it may not be World War II where literally that tap on the shoulder seemed much more apparent because death ravaged the world, but the war of death continues in breast cancer; a war that knows no boundaries or race.
