The 37th annual meeting of the International Continence Society (ICS) will be held in Rotterdam from 20 to 24 August. The official ICS press conference will take place on Wednesday 22nd August from 10.30 hrs. It will include a presentation on the first Public Forum of the Continence Promotion Committee and it will also see the official launch of the Continence Foundation of The Netherlands.

Press members will receive complimentary registration, exclusive use of the press centre where there are workstations, internet access, printing facilities and designated interview areas.

The Continence Promotion Committee and the International Continence Society have worked closely together on establishing an annual Public Forum with the aim of raising continence awareness and continue its work to tackle the stigma attached to this sensitive subject. The first one will take place on Saturday 25th August and is encouraging local people to come along and have opportunity to listen to the experts and become more informed.

The Continence Foundation of The Netherlands is one of the first patient-focused foundations of its kind and specialises in addressing the needs of patients suffering from continence issues in The Netherlands. It has also been involved in the development of the Public Forum.
